Chickenlist operates under an ironclad commitment: we will never sell, rent, trade, lease, or share your personal information with any third party, advertiser, data broker, or marketing company—ever. Your data is yours alone. Period.
We collect only the information you explicitly provide when you create an account and post listings:
We do not run tracking pixels, behavioral analytics, third-party cookies, or any form of cross-site profiling. We do not log your IP address for tracking purposes. We do not build a profile of your browsing habits.
Full listing content—including stories, photos, and contact details—is visible only to authenticated members. Public visitors see only headlines. You control granular privacy for each listing:
Payment processing is handled entirely by Base44 Payments using PCI-compliant infrastructure. We never see, store, access, or touch your credit card number, CVV, or billing details. All payment data is encrypted and isolated from our systems. For payment privacy questions, refer to Base44 Payments' privacy terms.
We use only essential session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use:
Listings automatically expire and deactivate after 30 days. You can delete your own listings at any time. When you cancel your membership, all your listings are deactivated. You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time—we will comply within 7 business days with no questions asked.
All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. All data at rest is encrypted. Access to user data is strictly limited to authenticated staff for essential platform operations only. We take operational security seriously—this is a community built on trust and discretion.
In the unlikely event of a legal demand for user data, we will fight it. We do not voluntarily provide user information to law enforcement, government agencies, or private parties without explicit user consent and legal process. Your privacy is paramount.
Chickenlist's verification process is conducted by real human beings — not automated systems or corporations such as ID.me, Onfido, Trulioo, or similar services. Each verification submission is reviewed individually, with our best judgement applied by cross-referencing submitted information including names and payment data. We take this seriously and make every reasonable effort to confirm the identity of those seeking the Verified Member badge.
That said, no verification system is infallible, and we ask all members to exercise their own discretion when it comes to personal safety — particularly when meeting someone for the first time. Use common sense: meet in public places, tell someone where you're going, and trust your instincts. By using chickenlist.com, you acknowledge and agree that Chickenlist is not responsible for the outcomes, experiences, or consequences of connections made through the platform. We are a venue for introductions — what you do with them is entirely your own responsibility.
We will notify you of material changes to this policy via email. Continued use of the platform after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
